Located in the heart of the Sydney CBD, the Castlereagh Boutique Hotel is undergoing a major electrical infrastructure upgrade. Elektron has been contracted to replace the main switchboard and main distribution board. Due to the basement switchroom's restricted access via a narrow staircase, Elektron engineered the two switchboards in six modular sections. These components were winched down the stairs and reassembled on-site. The project requires a coordinated full-building shutdown for final installation and is scheduled for completion in 2026.
